V-FIESTA 2022-23 (Boogi-Voogi Dance competition)

Dance is in the heart of every culture ,dance is part of the pulse of humanity. Youth across race, religion and language will seamlessly move their bodies to rhythm when they hear music. Keeping this in mind the fifth day of V-fiesta in Vivekanand mahavidyalaya was dedicated to dance competition. Dance gives all of us, no matter who we are or where we come from, a platform for personal expression and a pathway for social connection.Vivekanand mahavidyalaya also gave this opportunity to all the students to express themselves through their dance performance. The dance performances included Lavani,freestyle dancing and also contemporary.The highlights of the event were radha krishna Dance and thalaiva Dance. Judges of the event interpreted performances by considering artistic intent, meaning, and artistic expression as communicated through the use of the body, elements of dance, technique, structure, and context. The participants dressed in colourful costumes, twirled around and set the stage on fire with their thrilling performances.
